Group Overview
Guangzhou Textiles Industry & Trade Holding Ltd. (TIT)is a large state-owned enterprise in Guangzhou. The Group owns a total asset of 6.3 billion yuan, with annual business income of about 6.1 billion yuan. In recent years, the board of Directors and leadership of the political party of TIT have always insisted on an business approach of scientific development and sustainable development; speeding up Group restructuring; promoting industrial transformation and upgrading; making efforts to create a modern trading, technological and fashionable industry, a creative industry a service industry, as well as a capital operation platform. Brand
TIT has a series of well-known brands: the brand TIT is the Group's overall brand image; the brand Ligongmin, awarded the title China Time-honored Brand by the Ministry of Commerce of China, is popular in Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asia. With the first domestic denim production line, Newto leisure jeans enjoy high reputation in China. TIT was identified as the provincial-level technology center in Guangdong. Besides, the subsidiary-Guangdong Textile Testing and Measuring Technology Co, Ltd., is renowned to be the apparel R&D and quality testing center in southern China. It is also permitted to establish the academician workstation by Guangdong Science and Technology Department. Wholly-owned by TIT, Guangzhou University, College Of Textile And Garment has 3500 students and serves as a base for clothing major and technical personnel in Southern China.
Modern Trade
TIT Group is mainly engaged in the imports and exports of textiles and garments, chemicals, daily necessities, food and furniture, building materials and medical products. Export-import volume top 500 enterprises and export volume top 200 enterprises such as Guangzhou Textiles Holdings Limited, Guangzhou Gutex Holdings Limited, Guangzhou Chemicals Import & Export Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Begol Holdings Limited, are wholly owned by TIT. Offshore companies in the United States, Russia, South Africa, Hong Kong and other regions help spread the sales network. TIT Group's total annual import & export volume firmly ranks first in Guangzhou.
Industrial Services
TIT Group actively responds to the rapidly changing market and puts in a great effort in developing modern industrial zones. It aims to build a series of core projects including a TIT scientific business center with the theme of international textile headquarter; a TIT creative center integrating apparel designing, science and fashion, creative art, cultural experiencing; a TIT industrial center clustering logistics, exhibition and Fine industrial manufacturing. It provides logistics, exhibition and manufacturing as a whole. As a key project of the Group, TIT Creative Industry Zone has developed into a creative industry park series with high-tech fashion and definitely a well-known series for industrial transformation and upgrading.
Capital Operation
Financial derivative business is a potential growth driver for TIT Group. Capital operation includes investing in Guangzhou Grand buy Microfinance Co. Ltd., Guangzhou Metro Microfinance Co. Ltd., State-owned Fund and Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank. By advancing the Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangdong Textile Testing and Measuring Technology Co, Ltd., list in the “new OTC market”, is also a key focus of the Group.
